Scott Powers: COMMERCIAL PRINT INTENSIVE

More performers are working print models and funding their acting careers because of this program than all other courses combined. You'll receive the professionally proven skills that take others years to learn which can be applied to all aspects of a performer's career, and, most importantly, how to apply the skills to get the job. Stephanie Artuso & Jeremy Russell: ON-CAMERA COMMERCIALS

The most powerful commercial program offered in New York: in the first half of the course, you will be trained by top commercial agent Stephanie Artuso of TalentWorks. The second half you will continue to be trained by Award Winning Director of Commercials Jeremy Russell. Final class includes audition with noted commercial casting director. Each students' work is recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. $525

Margaret Emory: PRIMETIME EPISODIC

Launch a successful career in New York Primetime TV shows under the guidance of Margaret Emory, Talent Agent at Dulcina Eisen Associates. Students work on-camera with original scripts from each genre of current episodics with playback and notes. Final class includes an audition with a Casting Director from one of the New York episodics. Classes include shooting on NYC locations and green screen. Each student's work is recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. $595.

Mark Mann: PERFECTING EMOTIONAL TECHNIQUE w/ CAMERA CONSTRAINTS

A new, unique, specialized class designed for the serious actor to address the on-set demands of perfecting the close-up with extreme camera angles and lighting, speaking with the eyes, crying on cue, manifesting happiness through the body, etc. Highly technical, utilizing-leading edge computer, video and internet capabilities. All work recorded on DVD each class. $395.

Leila Sbitani: TV HOSTING

Being a TV host is the hottest venue for actors and we're the only acting school that offers a class in it. Conducted by Leila Sbitani, star and host of TV Land's "Best Night In", this program is all hands-on and on-camera: just how to act as an on-camera host vs. other on-air talent - taped on-camera. How to conduct interviews; work with co-hosts; hitting the mark while reading copy, extensive teleprompter practice; how to audition for a TV host; viewing TV host reels; where to find work. Each students' work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. Final class also includes audition for the head of the TV Hosting Division of Abrams Artists, agent Mark Turner. $595.

Chip Hourihan: BASIC FILM SCENE STUDY (ON-CAMERA)

This hands-on course is conducted by award-winning Director Chip Hourihan. Writer, Director, and Producer of the acclaimed independent feature Glissando, winner of multiple Best Picture and Best Actor awards at film festivals across the US and Canada. Producer of Frozen River, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. This course focuses on bridging the gap between theatre and film. Students work on several scripts appropriate for them, exploring scene, subtext and character development. Each students' work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review; dailies viewed every class with director's notes. Includes formal audition with a film casting director. Includes a 2-minute professionally shot & edited DVD of selected location film scene for uploading to personal website, Myspace, Facebook, Youtube, etc. $550.

Joe Perce: IMPROVISATION

Every agent and casting director demands solid Improv skills from their actors. This on-camera Improv program is the most unique and comprehensive program of its kind in New York. If you are nervous in front of the camera, need more confidence on auditions, or want to sharpen your acting skills, then this program is for you. Includes improv with Green Screen as well as location work. Work recorded on DVD to review at home. $525.

Robert Fass: TELEPROMPTER / EARPROMPTER / GREEN SCREEN

The three most important "money skills" you can have - and more castings require them. Hands-on training w/ teleprompter, earprompter and green screen state-of-the-art equipment. Jenevieve Brewer: AUDITION TECHNIQUE / MONOLOGUES / COLD READINGS

One of the most imperative essentials of becoming a successful actor is to ace the audition process. This course will teach you how to overcome the pressure at hand and nail the perfect monologue, sides and cold readings. Each students' work recorded every class on DVS to take home to review. Last session includes an audition with a top Casting Director. Instructor Jenevieve Brewer is the Talent Agent at Carson Organization. $525.

Chip Hourihan: ADVANCED FILM PROGRAM
Want to be the lead in a professionally directed movie written specifically for you? In the Advanced Film Program, students will star in and shoot an independent short film, written specifically for the participating actors, produced by Scott Powers Studios and directed by award-winning filmmaker Chip Hourihan, complete with a professional paid crew. This is not a student movie. The film is aggressively submitted to the appropriate film festivals. In addition, you attend the gala premiere of the movie attended by agents and casting directors. You receive a master copy of your film for promotional purposes. $5,000 Leads. Appropriate tuition for supporting cast & speaking roles. $750 - $5,000.
