Scott Powers: COMMERCIAL PRINT INTENSIVE

More performers are working print models and funding their acting careers because of this program than all other courses combined. You'll receive the professionally proven skills that takes others years to learn which can be applied to all aspects of a performer's career, and, most importantly, how to apply the skills to get the job. Kathy Searle: ON-CAMERA COMMERCIALS

In getting a commercial, try taking a class from someone who books national spots all the time and knows exactly what it takes to land the job. Kathy Searle is one of the busiest and most successful commercial actors in New York, with an impressive number of current commercials and voice-overs to her credit. In this program, Kathy combines an effective pragmatic blend of professional and personal approach beneficial to the student. Each session every student works at least three times on camera with playback and feedback. Each student's work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. Final class includes audition with a top commercial agent from noted commercial agency. $525.

Margaret Emory: SCENE STUDY FOR SOAP

Launch a successful soap career in this powerhouse Soap program taught by Margaret Emory, Talent Agent at Dulcina Eisen Associates, who currently has her actors on roles throughout all four New York Soaps. Focus on development of specific techniques such as assessment of material (scene and subtext) and mechanics of multi-camera shooting. Work on camera every class with playback and notes. Final class includes an audition with an Associate Casting Director from one of the four NY soaps. Classes include working on an actual three-camera soap sound stage. Each student's work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. Final class includes recorded scenes on soap set. $625.

Leila Sbitani: TV HOSTING

Being a TV host is the hottest venue for actors and we're the only acting school that offers a class in it. Conducted by Leila Sbitani, star and host of Nickelodeon's "Hi-Jinks," this program is all hands-on and on-camera: just how to act as an on-camera host vs. other on-air talent - taped on-camera. How to conduct interviews; work with co-hosts; hitting the mark while reading copy, extensive teleprompter practice; how to audition for a TV host; viewing TV host reels; where to find work. Final class also includes audition for the head of the TV Hosting Division of Abrams Artists, agent Mark Turner. $595.

Scott Brooks: BASIC FILM SCENE STUDY (ON-CAMERA)

This hands-on course is conducted by award-winning Director Scott Brooks, focusing on bridging the gap between theatre and film. Emphasis on specific technical aspects of the camera and the filmmaking process. Students work on several scripts appropriate for them, exploring scene, subtext and character development. Each student's work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review.; dailies viewed every class with director's notes. Final class includes a scene audition with a film casting director. $550.

Joe Perce: IMPROVISATION

Every agent and casting director demands solid Improv skills from their actors. If you are nervous in front of the camera, need more confidence on auditions, or just want to sharpen your acting skills, then the improvisation program is designed for you. You will be working every class to master skills such as group mind, 'yes, and,' finding the game within the scene and long-form improvisation. $525.

Robert Fass: TELEPROMPTER/EARPROMPTER/GREEN SCREEN

The three most important "money skills" you can have - and more casting require them. Hands-on training on teleprompter, earprompter and green screen state-of-the-art equipment. Jenevieve Brewer: AUDITION TECHNIQUE/MONOLOGUES/COLD READINGS

One of the most imperative essentials of becoming a successful actor is to ace the audition process. This course will teach you how to overcome the pressure at hand and nail the perfect monologue, sides and cold readings. Each student's work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. Last session includes an audition with a top Casting Director. Instructor Jenevieve Brewer is the Talent Agent at Carson Organization. $525.

Margaret Emory: SUPER SOAP INTENSIVE PROGRAM
This program is at an accelerated pace from your basic Daytime Drama program. Participants will receive a new scene each class just as they would if they were a contract player on an actual soap. All work will be performed on a 3-camera sound stage. There will be concentrated, fast work on the scene breakdown, rehearsal, camera blocking then right to taping, just as on a real soap set. Following the taping, there will be playback and Margaret will give notes. All work recorded individually on DVD to take home to review. Also included in the last session will be an audition, feedback, and a Q&A session with an Associate Casting director from one of the New York soaps. $625.

Scott Brooks: FILM SCENE STUDY INTENSIVE (ON-CAMERA)
Offered to those who have completed Mr. Brooks' Film Basic program or the equivalent elsewhere, this program is much more advanced and faster moving; less explanations. This course concentrates on full coverage of scenes; focuses on real work in front of the camera right from the beginning. Includes location shooting. Students will develop suitable dailies for their reel. Final class includes a scene audition with a film casting director. $550.

Scott Brooks: ADVANCED FILM PROGRAM
Want to be the lead in a professionally directed movie written specifically for you? In the Advanced Film Program, students will star in and shoot an independent short film, written specifically for the participating actors, produced by Scott Powers Studios and directed by award-winning filmmaker Scott Brooks, complete with a professional paid crew. This is not a student movie. The film is aggressively submitted to the appropriate film festivals. In addition, you attend the gala premiere of the movie attended by agents and casting directors. You receive a master copy of your film for promotional purposes. $5,000 Leads. Appropriate tuition for supporting cast & speaking roles. $750 - $5,000.
