Scott Powers: COMMERCIAL PRINT INTENSIVE

More performers are working print models and funding their acting careers because of this program than all other courses combined. You'll receive the professionally proven skills that take others years to learn which can be applied to all aspects of a performer's career, and, most importantly, how to apply the skills to get the job. Alison Franck , Kenan Moran & Cynthia Katz: ON-CAMERA COMMERCIALS

The most powerful commercial program offered in New York: in the first half of the course, you will be trained by top commercial casting director Alison Franck of Liz Lewis Casting. The second half you will continue to be trained by Award Winning Director of Commercials Kenan Moran. The third half of the class you will be trained by high-powered Agent Cynthia Katz of Gotham Talent Agency. Each students' work is recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. $525

Thompson Milam: PRIMETIME TV

Launch a successful career in New York Primetime TV shows under the guidance of the high-powered Agent, Thompson Milam, from Henderson Hogan Agency. Thompson represents actors on New York's Primetime Shows. Students work on-camera with original scripts from each genre of current primetime TV with playback and notes. Final class includes an audition with a Casting Director from one of New York's Primetime TV Shows. Classes include shooting scenes on NYC locations and green screen. Each student's work is recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. $595.

Brandon Williams: TV HOSTING

Being a TV host is the hottest venue for actors and we're the only acting school that offers a class in it. Conducted by Brandon Williams who has been a TV-Host & On-Camera personality for 15+ years & wrote and hosted the hit travel show "We Live Here" for the Fine Living Network. This program is all hands-on and on-camera: just how to act as an on-camera host vs. other on-air talent - taped on-camera. How to conduct interviews; work with co-hosts; hitting the mark while reading copy, extensive teleprompter practice; how to audition for a TV host; viewing TV host reels; where to find work. Each students' work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. Final class also includes audition with an agent from the TV-Hosting Division at Abrams Artists. $595.

Chip Hourihan: ON-CAMERA FILM INTENSIVE

This hands-on course is conducted by award-winning Director Chip Hourihan. Chip recently won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and also has two Academy Award nominations. This course focuses on bridging the gap between theatre and film. Students work on scripts appropriate for them, exploring scene, subtext and character development. Each students' work recorded on DVD's to take home to review. Includes a 2-minute professionally shot & edited DVD of selected location film scene for uploading to personal website, Facebook, Youtube, etc. $550.

Joe Schiappa : IMPROV FOR AUDITIONS, SCENES & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Every agent and casting director demands solid improv skills from their actors. This on-camera program goes beyond the traditional improv class and gives the actor a discrete set of improv skills to audition for commercials, then film then primetime all within the context of scenes and character development. Robert Fass: TELEPROMPTER / EARPROMPTER / GREEN SCREEN

The three most important "money skills" you can have - and more castings require them. Hands-on training w/ teleprompter, earprompter and green screen state-of-the-art equipment. Jenevieve Brewer: AUDITION TECHNIQUE / MONOLOGUES / COLD READINGS

One of the most imperative essentials of becoming a successful actor is to ace the audition process. This course will teach you how to overcome the pressure at hand and nail the perfect monologue, sides and cold readings. Each students' work recorded every class on DVD to take home to review. Lori Balaban: MASTERING CROSS-PLATFORM ACTING, ON-CAMERA

In a screen test environment, concentrate on the similarities and differences between acting across mediums of commercials, scripted comedy, scripted drama, voice over, hosting and improv. Work with current scripts from each medium .Industry heavyweight award-winning Producer/Writer Lori Balaban provides the skill set necessary to the actor to compete in today's cross-platform acting demands..On-camera; work record on DVD for review at home. $525.

Chip Hourihan: ADVANCED FILM PROGRAM
Want to be the lead in a professionally directed movie written specifically for you? In the Advanced Film Program, students will star in and shoot an independent short film, written specifically for the participating actors, produced by Scott Powers Studios and directed by award-winning filmmaker Chip Hourihan, complete with a professional paid crew. This is not a student movie. The film is aggressively submitted to the appropriate film festivals. In addition, you attend the gala premiere of the movie attended by agents and casting directors. You receive a master copy of your film for promotional purposes. $5,000 Leads. Appropriate tuition for supporting cast & speaking roles. $750 - $5,000.
